Trout Lily Mug

Trout Lilies are one of my favorite spring ephemerals, and I love to see their mottled leaves scattered over the forest floor throughout spring and early summer. Spring ephemerals are so special because they help ground us in the today, the right now, the be-here-now of spring.
Plus, they're stinking cute, so here is an ode to spring rain and speckled dirt and trout lily.
This mug is glazed blue on the inside and left as matte raw clay on the outside, except where you see white design elements, where it is glazed with clear glaze to prevent staining and add a little shine (including around the lip where your mouth goes, and on the handle for added durability).
This mug has a raindrop design on one side (the 2nd mug pictured is not part of this sale)

Holds 11 oz and measures 3 1/8 inches tall.
